How many lessons will I need?

In the UK people usually take somewhere between 30 and 45 hours to learn to drive. How many lessons you need will depend upon your motivation and aptitude for driving, whether you have had any relevant past experience, and whether or not you can obtain any supplementary practice between lessons with a relative or friend. The following courses described in this page are therefore, only a guide to how many hours you might need based on the circumstances outlined. It is not a guarantee you will be ready for the test. this will depend upon your progress and commitment.
The Semi Intensive Pass Course is spread over two or more weeks to suit you and your instructor's schedule. This is the most popular and successful form of intensive training. It is designed for people who want to pass the test quickly, but at a comfortable pace.
The in-
The One Week Pass Course is identical in content to the Semi Intensive Course, except that it would usually start on Sunday or Monday and finish on Friday. It is ideal for those who are in a hurry and who could not otherwise find the time. You would need to book the course and pass the Theory Test well in advance of the required start date.
The Midway Pass Course. I offer this course for those who have already learned the basic control skills of driving,

The Test Booster Course. Is for those who are nearing test standard and who just
need a short burst of lessons prior to the test. It is also ideal for those who have
had an attempt at the test some time ago but haven't had any lessons since. The in-
The above courses include in car tuition, a workbook and the loan of the driving DVD’s.
The Pass Plus Scheme is a Driving Standards Agency supported scheme which aims to promote and improve road safety for newly qualified drivers (must be taken within the first year of passing the driving test). As well as becoming a better and safer driver, some insurance companies offer discounts on premiums to drivers who hold a Pass Plus certificate.
